Branding identity

La Meca Nature & Homes is a hospitality company in Los Caños de Meca, a coastal town in Barbate, Cadiz (Spain). It promotes sustainable tourism and works hard to tender not only a balmy-comfortable place to stay but a full experience that makes guests discover and appreciate the finest things the region has to offer. 

For the brand identity, we bet for an extremely warm aesthetic based on an earthy color palette, handmade illustrations, and rustic textures that immerse the guests into a cozy-relaxed atmosphere. In order to strengthen its warmth personality, we centered the drawings on Juan el Farero (John the lighthouse keeper), a legendary character in Caños de Meca, creating a beautiful storytelling resource to make guests feel at home: we can see him carrying out some daily actions like reading the news while pooping or switching off the light. The brand's tone of voice is always kind and lovely, from the warning about insects' presence up to orders given to follow house rules.
